Profile of Yvonne Airey


Yvonne has over 25 years of experience in the domestic retail, travel retail and inflight retail industries in both senior commercial and buying roles. Her core skills include building positive client and supplier relationships, multi-team project management, contract startups, new business development, buying and managing the supply chain.

Her many successes also include achieving cost improvements of £10m over 3 years and increasing SPH by over 20% for a major UK airline. She is also responsible for the strategy selection and support in negotiation of product for a number of airlines’ food and retail offers, whilst in conjunction and delivery of full digital marketing suites.

Yvonne joined TIRS in May 2014 as Chief Merchandise Officer and is responsible for creating merchandising strategy, driving product innovation and creativity, supply chain optimization and all product marketing.
