Tourvest Inflight Retail Services is a leading, global retail operator providing world-class travel retail products, services and technologies to the airline industry.

Tourvest Inflight Retail Services (TIRS) was formed in 1999 when the inflight duty free concession on South African Airways was acquired by the newly-listed tourism company Tourvest Group. The business expanded rapidly, gaining a reputation for its innovative approaches in managing and controlling stock, across a growing, global landscape.

Since then, TIRS has won more than 16 international awards for providing its partner airlines with outstanding inflight retail solutions, including for onboard retail technology, merchandising, brochure production and crew training.

At TIRS, we see ourselves as an extension of the airline and its value proposition to its customers, rather than just another supplier. Our business philosophy is built on the importance of partnerships and we ensure that each one has a bespoke inflight retail service, specifically tailored to its positioning, branding and customer requirements. This methodology has enabled us to deliver a full end-to-end solution, including full warehousing and logistics components, the sourcing of suppliers and products, inflight EPOS, trolley security, cash handling, crew commission / training and menu / brochure design and print.

TIRS currently packs and tracks the movement of more than 31 million individual products on five international airlines. Operating some 750 flights per day from various international airport hubs.
